Surgery Associate’s reputation is based on our use of state-of-the-art techniques performed skillfully and with an attitude of caring. Perhaps, you have been referred to our office by your physician or a friend for specialized surgical care. Certainly, you will receive a thoughtful, honest surgical opinion.
We see patients by appointment only. As a result, we can reserve ample time for examination and discussion. You may reach our surgeons at all times by calling the paging service at 662-377-3798.
We ask that you print, fill out and bring all needed forms with you to your appointment. Consequently, this helps make your visit more efficient. Without a doubt, we realize that every patient is unique and has specific needs. With this in mind, please contact us if you have a special need that we can assist you with.
Your referral is the highest compliment that we can receive. Thus, please know that our appointment book is always open for someone you know.
After we complete our specialized care, we encourage you to return to your family physician for regular checkups and medical care.
You can have a prescription filled at any pharmacy. We will likely give you a written prescription form when we see you in the office.
Refills: You should direct your request for prescription refills to your pharmacist. Then, your pharmacist will contact the doctor if an approval is necessary. Refills must be handled during regular office hours, unless an emergency exists.
Bring your medication to the office: It is very important for you to bring all your medications to your appointment. Likewise, make sure to include over-the-counter medications and those prescribed by doctors outside our office.
Our fees are reasonable and comparable with other specialists in surgery. Therefore, we will make every effort to work with you to arrive at a convenient payment schedule for your surgical care. Please let us know if you need special consideration. We will be happy to discuss any questions you might have about our fees and payment schedule. We invite discussions with you to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding in this area.
Filing your claim: We are willing and happy to assist patients to the greatest extent possible. At the time of service we will ask you to pay your co-pay, deductible or co-insurance if applicable. It is your responsibility to provide us with a copy of your insurance card.
Surgery / hospitalization: If we advise and schedule surgery, hospitalization or outpatient procedures, it is your responsibility to notify your insurance company regarding pre-certification or second opinion requirements. Then, your insurance company may contact us for additionalinformation. Immediately upon discharge from the hospital, we will file your insurance forms and mail them to your insurance company.
