Newt P. Harrison, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Harrison graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Then, he completed a surgery internship and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He began practicing in 2002.
Dr. Harrison is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His expertise and special interest is in all facets of general, breast, colorectal, hernia, melanoma, skin cancers, lipomas, varicose veins, robotic and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Harrison has always enjoyed helping others and working with his hands. Above all, Dr. Harrison feels that being a doctor and specifically a surgeon was a calling from the Lord. When not working, Dr. Harrison enjoys outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and boating.
